A master of the harmonica for over 40 years, Howard Levy pioneered playing the diatonic harmonica as a fully chromatic instrument including the "overblowing" and "overbending" techniques. Howard has explored multiple genres including Jazz, Classical, Latin and other styles of World Music in his journey. Aside from his prolific work as a solo performer, he is a founding member of the group Bela Fleck and The Flecktones and a member of Trio Globo, Chévere de Chicago and Acoustic Express; and has recorded collaborations with countless industry giants. Howard has been teaching harmonica lessons online with ArtistWorks since 2009.
One of the world’s most respected jazz bass players, John Patitucci has played with some of music’s biggest names including Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, B.B. King, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, Wayne Shorter, Dizzy Gillespie, George Benson, and many others. Known for his versatility, sensitivity and tone, Patitucci is widely regarded as one of today’s most influential jazz musicians and composers. John is the Artist in Residence at the Global Jazz Institute at Berklee College of Music, and continues to compose and record music that reflects his interests in jazz, classical, Brazilian, and pop. Since 2012 John has brought his love of teaching to ArtistWorks for students around the world.
Martin Taylor is a Grammy® nominated fingerstyle guitarist, solo jazz guitar virtuoso and online guitar teacher. Martin has collaborated with the biggest names in guitar music including Tommy Emmanuel, Jeff Beck, Chet Atkins, Frank Vignola, Barney Kessell, Earl Klugh, Herb Ellis, Scotty Moore, Julian Lage, Andreas Oberg, Albert Lee, and Laurence Juber. Martin has been awarded two honorary doctorates, a BBC lifetime achievement award, an IAJE Jazz Educators award, and in 2002 he was appointed MBE 'For Services to Jazz Music' by the Queen of Great Britain. He has been teaching fingerstyle guitar online with ArtistWorks since 2010.
