Hugh Sung

Mike Block

It was the ultimate cello party at Tanglewood on August 13! Mike Block joined Yo-Yo Ma, Italian cellist/composer Giovanni Sollima, Croatian cellist Monika Leskovar and the Boston Cello Quartet (comprised of four members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra) for a sold-out concert at Ozawa Hall commemorating the upcoming 400th anniversaries of the deaths of Shakespeare and Cervantes in 2016. Mike composed and arranged much of the music for the occasion, which included two pieces that the musicians performed standing up with the Block Strap, the cello strap designed by Mike.

Howard Levy

This Grammy®-winning musician has not only mastered the harmonica, he has introduced new and innovative techniques. He teaches classic blues and rock styles, of course, but also lesser-known harmonica styles like jazz, classical, Indian, Middle Eastern, folk and bluegrass. Howard is currently in Japan teaching multi-style harmonica to his fans!
